Product Description

  The drill pipe is a steel pipe with threads at the tail end, used to connect the surface equipment of the drilling rig and the drilling and grinding equipment or bottom hole device located at the bottom of the well. The purpose of the drill pipe is to transport the drilling mud to the drill bit and work together with the drill bit to lift, lower or rotate the bottom hole device. The drill pipe must be able to withstand huge internal and external pressures, twisting, bending and vibration. During the extraction and refining of oil and gas, the drill pipe can be reused multiple times. 
  The API standard E75 to S135 steel grades of oil drill pipes with outer diameters ranging from 2 3/8" to 6 5/8", as well as double shoulder joint drill pipes with high torsional resistance and BNK C95S drill pipes of special steel grades for sulfur-containing oil wells. They are mainly applicable to the construction of deep wells, horizontal wells and extended reach wells in the process of oil and gas exploration and development.

The drill pipe structure is made of seamless steel pipes, with the wall thickness generally ranging from 9 to 11 mm. It consists of two parts: the drill pipe body and the drill pipe joint. The body and the joint are welded together by friction welding.
